BN The Know Lunch Series

The Chamber is proud to announce a new program for 2018: the “BN The Know” Lunch series, which will focus on relevant issues impacting the McLean County business community.  As the Chamber enters the second year of its PACE Strategic Plan, we strive to include our membership in promoting commerce, advocating pro-business perspectives, collaborating to lead change, and engaging in action for results.

We realize for this crucial strategic plan to be successful, we need you: our membership and the foundation of the local business community, to join us, to be involved, and to “be in the know” about the issues that impact your ability to do business here. Join us for lunch, join us for conversation, and join us in action for the betterment of the business community in McLean County.

"BN The Know" will take place quarterly throughout 2018. Bookmark this page or check your Featured Events email (an exclusive for Chamber members) for reminders on upcoming dates, times, locations, and feature presentations!

ISU: Partnership for Economic Development (Click To Register)

Thursday, May 29th
Holiday Inn & Suites Bloomington-Airport, 11:30am - 1:00pm
Special Guest: Illinois State University President Larry Dietz

Join the Chamber of Commerce for its second installment of the “BN The Know” Lunch Series and hear from Illinois State University President, Dr. Larry Dietz.  Illinois State University is a major economic driver for our communities – along with residing as the county’s second largest employer.  It is no secret that the last two years have brought financial uncertainty for universities in Illinois, and while ISU has weathered the storm better than most, there are still challenges ahead.

Partnerships between Illinois State University and the business community is more crucial than ever.  The second installment of the “BN The Know” Lunch Series will act as host for the critical conversation for how the business community can interact, assist, and partner with the University moving forward.
