What if you or someone you know didn’t receive a Census questionnaire?
If you or someone you know didn’t receive a Census questionnaire, you can call the Questionnaire Assistance Center at 1-866-872-6868. (If you prefer a Spanish-speaking operator, then dial 1-866-928-2010.) The lines will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (your local time) seven days a week from February 25, 2010 through July 30, 2010. For the hearing-impaired, TDD 1-866-783-2010 (during the times noted above).
*You can also fill out a questionnaire at a Be Counted location (see below).
Questions About the Questionnaire?
The Census Bureau has created Questionnaire Assistance Centers and Be Counted locations where individuals can receive help with census forms in person or fill out the questionnaire if individuals didn’t receive one. To find the centers in your communities please visit http://2010.census.gov/2010census/take10map/

2010 Census Calendar
Most households should have received their 2010 Census questionnaire the week of March 15. Also, you should have received a reminder post card the week on March 22.
March 29 – 31: Serviced Based Enumeration (SBE) takes place. Census takers conduct the census enumeration of people who do not have a home at service-based locations (e.g., homeless shelters, soup kitchens, etc.)
April 1 – 10: Replacement Questionnaires will be mailed out or mailed back to some households to increase response rates.
April – May: Enumeration of group quarters will occur. Group Quarters are places where people live or stay in group living arrangements that are owned or managed by an entity or organization (such as colleges and nursing homes) providing housing and/or services for the residents.
May 1 – July 10: Households that didn’t return their questionnaire will be visited by an enumerator, who will conduct the census at the door.

The Census Bureau launched an interactive map application that will give daily 2010 Census participation rate updates from March 22 to May 3. The map currently shows 2000 Census participation rates. The "Participation rate" is the percent of forms mailed back by households that received them. Visit http://2010.census.gov/2010census/take10map/ to track your communities.
