Contest Rules

OFFICIAL RULES:

By participating in this contest, individuals agree to abide by all contest rules and regulations.

 

ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible to enter the contest, an entrant must be employed by a business that is an active member in good standing of the McLean County Chamber of Commerce at the time of the drawing (June 21, 2017). An entrant may be declared ineligible should his/her employer be delinquent in paying its membership dues to the Chamber. Chamber employees and family of Chamber employees are ineligible to participate in this Contest. The McLean County Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to determine which member referrals qualify for entries into the contest.

 

HOST: The contest is hosted by the McLean County Chamber of Commerce, located at 2203 East Empire Street, Suite B, Bloomington, Illinois 61704.

 

SPONSOR: The prize is sponsored by Expedia CruiseShipCenters in Normal, IL located at 1520 E College Ave, Normal IL 61761.

 

CONTEST PERIOD: The contest begins on February 22, 2016 at 6pm Central Time (CT) and ends on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 5:00 pm Central Time (CT).

 

HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. To enter the Contest, complete the online entry form at https://mcleancochamber.wufoo.com/forms/2017-member-referral-program-entry-form/ during the contest period. To submit an entry in hard-copy form, the entry must be printed and mailed in an envelope to: McLean County Chamber of Commerce, 2203 East Empire Street, Suite B, Bloomington, IL 61704.

 

NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: The winner will be announced at the Chamber’s Business After Hours on June 21, 2017 at the Crossroads Center. Drawing will take place at 6:00pm. Individual MUST be present to win.

 

PRIZE: The winner will receive an Inside Stateroom for 2 on the Norwegian Epic sailing from Port Canaveral sailing on Feb 3, 2018. The prize will cover cruise fare and taxes/port fees. This cruise will also come with a full beverage package and pre-paid gratuities. It does not come with flights, transfers, excursions, or insurance. It can be transferable up until we put a name on the booking and select a stateroom.Booking must be done by June 30, 2017 or the prize will be voided.

 

PUBLICITY: By entering the contest, entrants agree to participate in any media or promotional activity resulting from the contest as reasonably requested by the Chamber and agree and consent to use of their name and/or likeness by the Chamber for promotional purposes related to the contest. The Chamber reserves the right to publish the name and likeness of the entrants and the winner on the Contest Site or through other media for publicity purposes.

 

GENERAL CONDITIONS: All taxes on any prize won are the sole responsibility of each winner, including, without limitation, any federal, state, or local taxes, which may be deemed applicable in such winner’s jurisdiction of residence.  Winner shall be solely responsible for the reporting and payment of all taxes incurred by acceptance and use of the prize(s) (or any portion thereof), if applicable.

 

Anyone using fraudulent means to participate and/or win the contest will be disqualified.  Any attempt by an entrant to undermine the legitimate operation of the contest may be in violation of criminal and civil laws.  Host and sponsors reserve all rights, including the right to seek remedies and damages (including attorney’s fees) from any entrant attempting to do so to the fullest extent of the Law.

 

PRIVACY: We will not sell your address or personal information.  Your address is required so that the contest sponsors may send your prize, should you win.

 

RELEASE: The McLean County Chamber of Commerce, its owners, staff, affiliates, advertisers, and prize donors are not liable or responsible for:

 

  • Any claims, damages, losses, injuries, or death including any third party claims, arising from or relating to, in whole or in part, any contest, including entry and participation in any contest and acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prizes.
  • Entries that do not follow guidelines.
  • Entries and responses to winner notifications that are illegible, incomplete, late, lost, misdelivered, marked postage-due, or undeliverable.
  • Any technical or human errors, malfunctions, failures, etc. resulting in participation of contests.
