COVID-19 Event & Meeting Procedure

For the health and safety of our staff, members, and the McLean County community, the Chamber will be implementing the following procedures at events and ribbon-cutting ceremonies:



Chamber Events & Functions Ribbon-cutting Ceremonies

Upon entering an indoor, Chamber sponsored event or meeting attendees will be required to:


  • Have their temperature taken. Those with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will not be permitted to attend.
  • Verbally take a health screening
  • Use hand sanitizer
  • Wear a mask unless eating or drinking
  • Practice social distancing
  • If available, ribbon-cutting ceremonies will be held outdoors. If the ceremony must be held indoors those attending will be asked to remain in their vehicles until two minutes prior to the start time.
  • Masks must be worn by attendees and staff of business participating in the ceremony
  • Hand sanitizer will be made available
  • Handshakes and exchanging of physical business cards are discouraged
