Matthew Lorenzen Named Top Administrative Professional

The McLean County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the 2016 Top Administrative Professional Matthew Lorenzen of The Pantagraph. Each year the Chamber celebrates the work of office professionals throughout McLean County on the nationally recognized “Administrative Professionals Day” held this year on Wednesday, April 27. This year five nominees from around McLean County were recognized at the DoubleTree by Hilton with a keynote presentation by Leticia Marseille of State Farm Insurance.


About Matthew Lorenzen:


As Sales Support Supervisor for the Pantagraph, Matthew is charged with keeping a sales staff of 16 on track and on deadline. He is the liaison between sales and production and supervises a support team of three. Working in an industry where changes are constant and deadlines are critical, Matthew is known for being able to handle a lot of jobs at one time and do them efficiently, accurately, and on time. He has a varied skill set from writing to project management to technical support and provides assistance to a wide variety of co-workers and management.


As his nominator stated, “Matthew is always ready and willing to help in any way. He explains things easily and succinctly, and is always willing to stop by someone’s work station to troubleshoot. He is our go-to guy.” Matthew plays in the Community Band at North Park in Gibson City and is also very active in his church, where he serves on the Praise Team and teaches Adult Sunday School.
