2nd Annual Behavioral Health Community Forum

Plan
to attend the 2nd Annual Behavioral Health Community Forum on October 8th from
8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center and the
Normal Theater in Uptown Normal. Sponsored by McLean County, City of Bloomington
and Town of Normal.



Adults
and youth over 12 years of age are invited to participate in a day of
discussions, idea sharing, and education about mental health, substance use
disorder, and other behavioral health issues impacting adults, youth, families,
and our entire community.



New
this year:



•         
Lunch and Learn Sessions



•         
A congruent youth track designed to provide young people will the opportunity
to gain valuable knowledge and skills focusing on topics such as suicide
prevention, bullying, understanding emotions, mindfulness and relaxation
techniques, and other youth-related topics



•         
Cross-over parenting/adolescent sessions



 



CEUs
will be offered.
