County Government plays a crucial role in our everyday lives, but much of its work is done behind the scenes.  In an attempt to highlight the imperative work being done by this legislative body, the Chamber has created an event to focus on the ‘State of’ McLean County government alone.

Join the Chamber on April 30th for the newly focused State of McLean County!  This event is the first of this year’s 4 part Advocacy Series – State of McLean County, State of BN, State of the State, and State of Congress.

The event will feature three panels dedicated to the work of the County, and how they work with McLean County partners to move our communities forward:

  1. Inter-Governmental Cooperation
Presented by McLean County Mayors Association President Tom Caisley (Mayor of Danvers), and McLean County Mayors Association VP Chad Walden (Mayor of Arrowsmith)

  2. Economic Development
Presented by EDC Interim Director Mike O'Grady, and McLean County Board Chairman John McIntyre

  3. Quality of Life
Presented by McLean County Board Chairman John McIntyre and members of the McLean County Board.

Tickets are $15 for Members and $25 for Non-Members. Light refreshments will be provided.
