The McLean County Health Department is responsible for the administration of programs that protect and promote the health of McLean County residents and visitors.
On March 8, 2018, we look forward to sharing information about our vast array of services including restaurant and well inspections; Mental Health First Aid classes; programs like Better Birth Outcomes and Family Case Management; the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) supplemental nutrition program; and other clinical services like our Dental Clinic for adults and children and our services related to HIV and other STD testing.
In addition, to navigate the complex funding requirements and utilization of multiple funding sources, the Health Department works diligently in its strategic planning process to identify the priority areas of focus and to ensure strong collaboration with other County Departments and community partners. We look forward to sharing our 2019 strategic planning process as well as our leadership design model which promotes using data to inform decisions and accountability and teamwork at all levels of operations.
The session will be led by Camille Rodriguez, Administrator; in addition, the agency’s leadership team will join, throughout the session, to include the Environmental Health; Maternal and Child Health; Community Health Services; and Financial/Operations Division Directors.
